Roach Motel 6

Roach Motel 6

Everyone knows Roach Motel 6, and everyone tries to avoid it. Located under the Bronx, anyone approaching it can tell it from pretty far away by its incredible stench. It is, in its entirety, a three story brownstone in a cavern just large enough to house a three story brownstone. The rooms inside appear to be seedy hotel rooms, complete with fifties-style interiors, black and white televisions, and 25-cent “magic fingers” beds.

No one knows how it got there, but it has become the home of a colony of the largest roaches anyone has had the gross misfortune to see. Averaging about a foot and a half long, the roaches are located right near the flux point of the subway mantra. It’s unclear what they eat, although they have been seen dragging off cats on occasion. They vary in intelligence. Most are as about smart as a dog, some are of ordinary roach level, and some even seem near human levels of intelligence. For the most part, they aren’t dangerous to people, although immensely disturbing. On the other hand, Mole People savor giant roaches as a delicacy, and it is worth mentioning that watching the Mole People eat their prized roaches has been known to even make Junkmen sick.

Roach Motel 6 is a sacred place to the Mole People, and they make sure only to take enough roaches so as to prevent diminishing the population of the colony. In recent years, however, the colony has gotten a little too large, and has begun spilling into other areas. Despite this, no measures have been taken for fear of angering the Mole People. Rumors persist that the roaches may be pushing topside. If this is the case, something must be done.
